Sephora has done it again, providing another fabulous gift set for the holiday season. It is perfect for those who want to dabble in the world of high-end eyeliners, or those who have perfected every eyeliner look and want explore more. This is also a great way to get travel sized eyeliners that you can carry on-the-go or on vacation. It gives you a taste of various eyeliners: pencils, liquid and even a gel.

I have been wanting to try the Stila Stay all Day Liquid Eyeliner and the Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner for some time. I have read on MakeupAlley that these two were known to have amazing staying power. Now, I have oily lids (of course, since I am an oily gal), and smudging is something I try to avoid at all cost. However, I was waiting to finish my current drugstore eyeliner before repurchasing a new one. But when I saw this set at Sephora, I was immediately draw to it. It provides a trial size for the products that I have been wanting to test out.

Here are the swatches.As you can see, they are all very pigmented. Urban Decay Perversion is truly jet black, whereas Rockstar is a beautiful dark plum color. Sephora is also a good economical choice. NARS is a good high-end alternative for your must-have black pencil liner. The Stila felt tip is thin and malleable--easy for any natural eyeliner look. Kat Von D is dark as night, perfect for the iconic cat eye. Lastly, Marc Jacobs liner is perfect for the gel look. This Draw The Line 2014 eyeliner set is like an appetizer, giving you a tease of what these eyeliners offer. Some of these eyeliners are quite expensive in their full size, so it's good to try them all out to determine which eyeliner works for you.
I used a wet cotton ball to wipe away the eyeliners to test their waterproof abilities. The first ones to fade were Stila and Kat Von D. The survivors of this water test were NARS and Marc Jacobs. However, when I used my The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Makeup Remover to remove the rest of the residue, everything was gone except Stila and Kat Von D. Although Stila and Kat Von D were faded, but they still remain in its faded form. I will definitely try these out on my oily eyelids to give it the true test of wear.
