I have always lived next to the Pacific Ocean. From Hong Kong, to San Diego, to the Bay Area. And recently, I have been given the wonderful opportunity to move to the East Coast! Wooohooo! This is really exciting. It is my passion to travel--to try living in new places, to experience and taste all the wonderful creations that God has made.
So I recently ordered the Everlane Twill Snap Backpack in Navy. Now I have been eyeing Everlane's products for a long time. It just so happened that my good ol' trusty Jansport backpack was wearing down, so I decided to invest in a new backpack for myself. In addition, I do admire Everlane as a company who claims to provide quality items without all the middleman costs. So I thought I'd share my thoughts with you :)
Time flies. It is already the middle of week 3 of the Daniel fast! My last update before it ends. It is oddly bittersweet to realize there is only two more days left. The energy that I felt during the fast kept me up and running was truly amazing, all due to God's provision!
You got to make do with what you can eat... and so I made a Daniel fast appropriate garlic toast! It is super quick & easy. It does not have the same buttery goodness, but it is a good alternative.
So I have been fasting for approximately 1.5 weeks so far. I am at the halfway mark. Here's my update on my fast. Keep reading for food ideas! I will make a separate post for recipes.
This post is long overdue, but hey! December was crazy--shopping during the holiday sales, gorging on delicious winter treats and spending time with family and friends. But I am back to business now! Here, I will share my favs of 2014. These were the items that I used religiously in the past year. So obviously, I got to dedicate a post to them! :)
For me, 2014 was an amazing year full of learning and new experiences. But I am looking forward to see what God will do with this year! Forsue Therefore, I am joining my church in a 21-day Daniel fast, starting January 4th and ending on 24th. By fasting and prayer, I am putting myself in a place of humility for God to do His work in my life. So I thought I would share my experience here with you on this blog. Let's be real, this blog is filled with everything-- from beauty, to places, to life talks. So why not?
