I got an anorak from Cotton On, an Australian based clothing store. Although the store does go on ridiculous sales (to the point that makes me question if they are profiting at all), I bought this anorak for full price at $49.95. The material is not particularly of high quality, but it will do to satisfy my longing for an anorak. I initially looking at an anorak at Madewell (the sister store of J. Crew). But the jacket retailed for $158.00, not including tax. It had wonderful structure and fitting, and the quality was quite nice. As much as I adore the jacket, I could not shell out that much money for one jacket. Perhaps it is for another time, another season in my life where I make bank. Until then, I shall settle for the anorak at Cotton On.

At Charlotte Russe, I picked up a white sweater with zig-zag detailing. It gives a slight tribal feel, in my opinion, but still maintaining a casual feel. There aren't any buttons or zipper which allows the inner clothing to still shine. I love pairing it with a tank top underneath and a pair of jeans on the bottom. I think it is a perfect addition to my closet as the colder months are arriving. I think it would look stunning with a pair of boots. It is definitely a wonderful and easy outfit for school or errands.


Red  Keds have become recently been added to my shoe collection. They were only $20 at Costco, and I have been wanting new canvas shoes for a while. They are quite comfortable. I was a little worried about the vibrant red color because it seemed hard to coordinate with outfits. But I am recently loving the white top + blue jeans combination, and these red Keds fit right in with that type of outfit. Definitely sporting the American colors of red, white and blue this September.

I honestly cannot wait til autumn arrives so I can wear layers, my new clothes, boots, beanies, scarfs... Oh, autumn, please come quickly. Let your breezy days and colorful leaves be the delights of my day.
